G.T. Tools uses Microsoft Windows 95/98 and predominantly NT, fully-networked operating systems and has an extensive range of software which includes:
  • 3D MATRA DATA VISION UCLID V3.2
  • 3D I-DEAS-ARTISAN v8
  • MASTERCAM DESIGN & v7.2c
    (All the above are full 3D packages for the creation of design and surface information)
  • MASTERCAM MILL v8.1
    (Full 3D CAD/CAM package for tool surface creation & multi surface machining)
  • MASTERCAM DRAFT v7.1
    Autocad Lit
Customer data can be received in a range of formats which include:
  • DVD
  • CD ROM
  • 4mm DAT Tape
  • 3.5" Disks
  • 3.5" Magneto Optical Disks

Large data files can also be transmitted and received either by e-mail (philt@gttools.co.uk) or via ISDN (+44 (0)1623 554592).

To avoid data corruption IGES (v5.0 and below) and I-DEAS is recommended.
